Join us for the inaugural History Friends Gathering, a special evening celebrating the people who make the Clarksburg History Museum possible.
Over the past year, community support has helped the museum continue to grow and expand its mission of preserving, educating, and inspiring through local history. Together with our event partner, The Morris, we invite donors, members, sponsors, volunteers, and friends to gather for an evening of fellowship and reflection as we celebrate how far we have come and look toward the future.
Guests will enjoy light charcuterie, dessert, a cash bar, a silent auction, and the opportunity to explore an eight year timeline highlighting the museum's growth from a small volunteer-run organization into a regional destination for exhibits, tours, educational programs, research, and community events.
The evening will include remarks from Museum President Michael J. Spatafore, who will share updates on the museum's accomplishments and vision for the years ahead.
We will also present the first-ever History Keeper Award, recognizing an individual whose dedication to history and historic preservation has helped shape Harrison County and preserve its stories for future generations.
Whether you have supported the museum from the beginning or are discovering us for the first time, we hope you will join us for this memorable celebration of community, heritage, and the power of preserving local history.
Tickets are $50 per person and include one complimentary drink ticket, charcuterie, and dessert.
